Yin Yoga Is an ancient practice of ecstatic stretching that induces meditative states.Technically speaking, Yin Yoga is a healing practice which works the deeper tissues of the body. It is specifically designed to exercise the ligaments, lengthen the muscles, increase mobility while strengthening the joints. This is all done through the relaxation of the muscles and interweaving meditative breathing techniques while holding yoga poses. (Description by Alisa Donner)
